Are you a “BIRTHER” or a “MARK”.

In the old neighborhood we would get a empty Sony TV box, glue cement blocks or bricks in it, reseal it and sell it on the street for $100.00 with the story that it was a $600.00 Sony TV that fell off a FedEx truck. Anyone that bought it without opening it was labeled a “Mark” A Bernie Madoff client, a Schmuck.

The ones that wanted to see what’s in the box before they bought it, today would be labeled a “Birther”

Are you a “BIRTHER” or a “MARK”. Do you believe Obama was born in Kapi’olani hospital? If you do I have a bridge I would like to sell you. It goes from Brooklyn to Manhattan, ready for a toll booth to be installed.

A “Mark” BELIEVED BILL CLINTON WHEN HE SAID: “I DID NOT HAVE SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH THAT WOMAN” Then they found the stained dress. He lied and they became a “Birther”.

A “Mark” BELIEVED JOHN EDWARDS WHEN HE SAID: “THAT’S NOT MY BABY” Then the Enquirer exposed him. He lied and they became a “Birther”.

A “Mark” BELIEVED WILLIAM “FREEZER” JEFFERSON WHEN HE SAID: “I DON’T KNOW HOW THAT CASH GOT IN MY FREEZER” Then they threw him in the slammer and they knew he lied and they became a “Birther”.

A “Mark” BELIEVED LINDA LINGEL WHEN SHE SAID: "So I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health, and we issued a news release at that time saying that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi'olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that's just a fact and yet people continue to call up and e-mail and want to make it an issue and I think it's again a horrible distraction for the country by those people who continue this."
Then they learned she lied, Fukino's statement never identified Kapiolani as Obama's birthplace and they became a “Birther”.

Fukino said, "[I have]...personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record...,"

Beyond the lie, if Lingle disclosed Obama's birth hospital without his permission, she has committed a misdemeanor. If Obama gave permission for this public disclosure, then Hawaii no longer has a basis for maintaining the privacy of Obama's birth records.

Welcome to the new members of the growing army of “BIRTHERS”

Chris Mathews, Rush Limbaugh, Hawaii Governor Abercrombie Senator Will Espero and Hawaii Legislators; Rida Cabanilla, Jerry Chang, Joey Manahan, John Mizuno and Calvin Say to name a few.

I was born in Hawaii, now get over it! (New song by the Obama One Man band)

Washington, Apr.13: US President Barack Obama's sister Maya Soetoro-Ng, has slammed comments made by 'birthers', who claim that Obama was not born in Hawaii, saying it is time to put the argument to rest.

Maya, who campaigned alongside Obama when he was running for president in 2008, backed her brother in a television interview and said it was unfortunate that people were raising questions about his birth as the President has already presented documents to prove he was born in Hawaii.

'I think that it is time for people to put that to bed, to rest completely,' she said.

Her comments came after speculative Presidential candidate Donald Trump continued to question the President's birthplace, The Daily Mail reports.

The siblings grew up together despite regular traveling between Hawaii, Obama's native state, and Indonesia, Maya's father's country.

Maya said despite the president being busy, she still stays in touch with him though she feels that he has 'been loaned out to the world' as she gets to see less of him, however, admitting that she often called his secretary or the White House usher to stay connected.

Maya said she and older brother Barack get their sense of focus from their mother, who inspired Soetoro-Ng to write her first children's book, "Ladder to the Moon." "Our mother loved the moon because she said everywhere the moon was the same... she felt a connection, sense of kinship with people from all over the world."

Maya believes that Ann, who died of uterine cancer in 1995, would be pleased with the accomplishments of her children. "I think she would love that I'm a teacher because she was a teacher. I think she would be very proud of my brother.
"Donald Trump "I Have Serious Doubts"

Soetoro-Ng also spoke about Donald Trump's questioning of her brother's birthplace. "My brother was born in Hawaii in 1961, his birth certificate has been not only produced, but authenticated." Maya said her older brother advised his family on the matter. "He [Obama] said to us that we should not take it personally -- that we should remain steady."

When they were youngsters, Maya said Dunham used an ironic nickname for Barack. "She would jokingly call him Mr. President when he got, you know, kind of bossy or excessively self-assured for someone so young."

President Obama's half-sister has a message for birthers: Get over it already!

Maya Soetoro-Ng, who shares a mother with the Commander-in-Chief, says the evidence is all there and people need to focus on more important issues.

"He was born in Hawaii," she told Piers Morgan on his CNN show, which will air Tuesday night. "There is a tremendous amount of proof that has already been presented."

Soetoro-Ng, who is doing the rounds to promote her new children's book, "Ladder to the Moon," pointed out that officials have verified his birth records.

In fact, the former director of Hawaii's Department of Health, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, said again recently that the whole conspiracy theory around Obama's birth has become "ludicrous at this point."

"[His birth certificate] is real, and no amount of saying it is not, is going to change that," Fukino told NBC News in a rare interview.

But she fears nothing at this point will stop the Internet theories from spreading.

"They're going to question the ink on which it was written or say it was fabricated," said Fukino. "The whole thing is silly."

Soetoro-Ng just wants those who insist on believing the wild theories to move on.

"I think it is time for people to put that to bed," she told Morgan. "Put it to rest completely, and focus on what they can do to help" this country.

As for potential presidential candidates such as Sarah Palin and Donald Trump who have recently supported discredited birther theories, she thinks it's a "shame."
Trump has jumped on the birther bandwagon in an effort to promote the idea that he'll run for President in 2012.
"It's inconceivable that, after four years of questioning, the President still hasn't produced his birth certificate," The Donald said last month, before stumbling over his own feet when he tried to show his birth certificate.
The real estate mogul posted an unofficial birth certificate from Jamaica Hospital in Queens before getting it right and posting his state-issued one.
The President produced an official document in 2008 showing he was born in Hawaii. His passport was also shown in a White House video in 2010, further proving he is an American citizen.
In order to run for President, the Constitution requires candidates to be "natural born" citizens. Obama's mother was an American; his father was Kenyan.
Over the weekend, Palin cheered Trump's antics, which happen to coincide with a new season of his reality show, "Celebrity Apprentice."
"He's not just throwing stones from the sidelines, he's digging in," Palin said on Fox News on Sunday. "He's paying for researchers to find out why President Obama would have spent $2 million to not show his birth certificate."
Claims that Obama has spent thousands, and now millions, to hide his records have never been supported by any actual evidence.
